What we collect
Your account email, your child's first name, age, pronouns and chosen language, any companions you save, the stories generated for you, and — if you upload one — a reference photo of your child. We never ask for surnames, addresses, schools or dates of birth.
How photos are used
A photo you upload is stored in a private bucket that only your account can reach, and is used solely as a likeness reference when illustrating your child's story. It is never made public, never used for advertising, and never sold. You can delete it at any time from the story creator, which removes the file immediately.
Who can see your stories
Personalised stories are private to your account by default. They become readable by others only if you create a private family reading link, and that link stops working the moment you switch sharing off. Stories in the free library are curated by us and contain no personal data.
AI processing
Story text and illustrations are generated by third-party AI models on our behalf. Only the details needed for the story (first name, age, language, theme, companion and — where relevant — the reference photo) are sent, and this data is not used to train those models.
Children's data
WonderZzz is a service for parents and carers. Accounts are held by adults; children never sign in. We keep the minimum information needed to make a story feel personal, and you remain in control of it.
Your rights
You can access, correct, export or delete your data at any time. Deleting a story removes its pages and illustrations; deleting your account removes your profile, children, companions, stories and photos. Write to privacy@wonderzzz.app and we will act within 30 days.
Cookies
We use only the cookies and local storage needed to keep you signed in and remember your reading position. There are no advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
